BAI Recognizes Industry Rising Stars

Submissions Now Open for the BAI Emerging Leaders Network

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BAI
announced that submissions are now being accepted for this year’s BAI
Emerging Leaders Network, a highly-engaging professional development
program that helps rising stars become stronger leaders and drive
positive change in the financial services industry.

This network recognizes the next generation of financial services
leaders, who are bold thinkers and passionate advocates helping to shape
the direction of our industry in an era of new ideas, cutting-edge
technology and rapidly-evolving customer expectations. This year-long
program includes curated content to build personal and professional
skills, as well as mentoring, networking and recognition opportunities
that will aid in their development and career success. Benefits of the
network include:

  • Acknowledgement as a top Emerging Leader in the financial services
    industry;
  • Special recognition through social media, industry publications,
including BAI Banking Strategies, and other BAI platforms.
  • Complimentary registration for a two-day meeting and peer exchange as
part of the BAI Industry Forum, Oct. 8-10, 2019 in Boston, MA.
  • Acceptance in a year-round Emerging Leaders professional development
network designed to provide relevant education and information,
    networking and recognition opportunities.
  • A complimentary individual BAI Membership, providing access to on-line
professional development courses and other specialized content and
    programming.

BAI is accepting applications now through July 26, 2019, at 5 p.m. CT.
Those who submit applications by June 28, 2018, at 5 p.m. CT will be
considered for early acceptance into the BAI Emerging Leaders Network.

The program recognizes up-and-coming financial services leaders with
less than 10 years of experience in the industry. Applications
are free to submit. Senior leaders can nominate rising stars within
their organization, or individuals may apply themselves, with a letter
of recommendation from a current or former manager.

“Much of the dialogue in the financial services industry today centers
around the customer, as it should. But, to be in a position to
consistently exceed customer expectations, the professional development
of our leaders must be a priority,” said Debbie Bianucci, President and
CEO of BAI. “This is why the BAI Emerging Leaders Network is such an
impactful way to build experiences for future leaders and recognize
their progress along the way. Through ongoing dialog, peer networking,
education, and professional development opportunities, BAI helps to
focus the passion and excellence of these rising stars, to drive
positive change and exceed customer expectations.”

“Being recognized by BAI as an Emerging Leader meant the opportunity to
learn outside of the office environment. It meant making connections to
both established and other emerging leaders. For those within my
organization, it meant a different type of exposure through external
validation of the value that I can provide,” said Ben Lemke, VP Risk
Management, Tech CU and past BAI Emerging Leader.
