Mark Ein appoints Katy McKegney as publisher of WCP

 

Washington City Paper announces the appointment of Katy McKegney to the position of Publisher, which represents the next step in the evolution of WPC under the ownership of Mark Ein. She served as an Advertising Director in The Hill newspaper since 2014. In WCP, McKegney will oversee the publication’s advertising sales, sponsorship programmes, strategic partnerships and events.

“Since its inception, Washington City Paper has been dedicated to serving the DC community as our local independent arts, culture, and investigative news source,” says Ms. McKegney. “Given this city’s current political climate, I am honored to take on this role to ensure that Washington City Paper continues to play an essential role in telling the hows and whys of Washington by connecting valued national brands to our community in order to support his endeavor, ” she added.
