JTV® Renews Sponsorship for Season Two of Lifetime’s Competition Series American Beauty Star

JTV (Jewelry Television®) announced it has renewed its sponsorship for season two of Lifetime’s beauty competition series, American Beauty Star, which premieres Wed., January 2 at 10:00 p.m. EST.

With international model Ashley Graham joining as the new host and celebrity makeup artist Sir John returning as mentor, season two of American Beauty Star will feature fourteen hair and makeup artists who will compete in a series of beauty challenges. From creating high-end editorial looks to the latest red carpet and runway-ready trends, each contestant will be responsible for executing every aspect of their look from hair and makeup to accessories, and everything in between.

For the second year in a row, JTV will have a prominent role throughout the competition. Each episode, contestants will have access to the JTV Jewelry Wall to accessorize and finish their look. The JTV Jewelry Wall will showcase hand-selected jewelry looks that correlate to each episode’s specific theme.

During the competition, there will be a JTV dedicated challenge where contestants will battle to create a look inspired by a specific piece of jewelry from the JTV Jewelry Wall. The winner of this challenge will receive $10,000 worth of jewelry from JTV. At the conclusion of the competition, the winning contestant will also receive $10,000 worth of jewelry from JTV.

“This sponsorship of American Beauty Star is a great opportunity for JTV to align with a series that complements our brand and product offering,” said Jill Johnson, Vice President of Marketing for JTV. “We are always looking for new ways to engage with consumers, especially those who are younger and new to JTV. The integration with American Beauty Star is an incredibly effective vehicle to introduce JTV and all we have to offer to a new demographic of potential customers.”
