Tech Data Expands Operations in Costa Rica

Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced it has opened a new Customer Lifecycle Management Services location in Escazú, Costa Rica. Opening today, the new facility will provide additional capacity to accommodate new customer success programs. Part of Tech Data’s Global Lifecycle Management Services portfolio, the Customer Lifecycle Management Services team offers programs to help customers expand their success and engagement, from partner acquisition and enablement to revenue and market share growth.

“Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are increasingly looking for more efficient, cost-effective ways to manage the long tail of their customer base,” said John O’Shea, senior vice president, Global Lifecycle Management Services, at Tech Data. “We’re extremely pleased to expand our operations in Costa Rica, and the services that we provide from our facility span the entire customer lifecycle. The facility, located in the Escazú Business Center, provides ample room for continued growth. With this expansion, Tech Data’s presence in Costa Rica, which began in 2007, supports its growth plans while extending its footprint by bringing in new global projects that will be managed in the new center. Services offered through the facility include customer acquisition, customer success, revenue growth, contract renewals and software license compliance, all using analytics to pinpoint the most lucrative opportunities.
