H&D Wireless, Swedish leading supplier of IoT connectivity and IoT Cloud and RTLS Platform solutions, receives first volume order from Macnica onSPB228 WiFi/BT module with a market value of 47 KUSD. H&D Wireless and its Business Unit Connectivity have a collaboration agreement with Macnica for distribution of HDW wireless modules for the European IoT market and it will be used in Mobility assistance.
“We are very happy to have received this first volume order for SPB228 from Macnica, it validates our new strategic Product family of Accelerate©. The design-in process has been very fast since the module SPB228 was released to market during CES2018 in January, and we have today already more than 28 customers design-ins with this module and now two in volume production,” says Pär Bergsten, CEO and founder of H&D Wireless.
The total wireless module market is expected to grow by 20% annually to 29 billion units in 2022, according to Ericsson’s mobility report.
