Sungrow, the global leading inverter supplier for renewables, participated in Australia’s biggest renewable energy expo All Energy Australia 2018 in Melbourne, presenting its residential, C&I and utility-scale PV solutions and energy storage system (ESS) solutions at booth No. 2914.
Ideal string inverters for residential and commercial solutions
During the show, Sungrow brought four distinctive three-phase inverters from 5KW to 20KW and single-phase inverter SG8K-D. The inverters are integrated with multiple advanced and innovative features: PV String I/V Scan Function to monitor string faults easily and Remote O&M Function via Sungrow’s all-new monitoring platform, iSolarCloud. In particular, these products are smaller and lighter than the comparable power inverters in Australia, with SG20KTL-M weighting only 24kg, meaning it can be easily installed by only one person, saving labor & transportation costs.
Turnkey solution SG3400HV-MV for utility-scale PV plants
Perfectly suited for large-scale 1500V flat ground plants, this turnkey solution with central inverter and transformer features block monitoring, an auxiliary power supply and Night Static Var Generator function. To enhance the power performance, it also features a high DC/AC ratio of 1.5, maximum efficiency up to 99% and 6.8 MW block design, achieving significant cost savings in initial investment and future operating.
All-in-one ESS solution showcased for the first time in Australia
Sungrow proudly launched its new integrated utility-scale ESS solution ST4200KWH-2000 manufactured by Sungrow-Samsung SDI Joint Venture. It consists of a 2000kW storage inverter, 4200kWh lithium batteries and HVAC, etc., which is fully compliant with all relevant Australian standards. It features a complete system solution for arbitrage in terms of the spot market,FCAS (Frequency Control Ancillary Services) and peak-shaving applications. It is worth mentioning that Sungrow received an order at exhibition to construct commercial ESS station in Queensland, Australia.
