Nilesh Thakker Joins Zinnov as Head – U.S. Operations & Global Engineering Excellence Practice

 

Zinnov, a global management consulting firm, today announced the recent appointment of Nilesh Thakker as the Head of their Operations in the U.S. as well as the Global Engineering Excellence practice. Nilesh has over 30 years of experience in the global technology industry, and is passionate about product development, engineering excellence, and building high performing centers of excellence globally.

During his previous stint as General Manager and Head of Operations at Intuit India, Nilesh was instrumental in setting up and transforming the India Development Center into one of the best in the country, with single digit attrition and successful hiring and retention of top talent, propelling it to become one of ‘India’s Best Companies to Work For’.

Nilesh, in his current role at Zinnov, is responsible for advising Fortune 500 companies on setting up high performing global centers of excellence, optimizing their global footprint, and reprioritizing their technology investments to drive cutting-edge innovation. In one of his recent engagements, he spearheaded the transformation of a globally distributed company by defining their global engineering strategy, consolidating their geographically diverse assets, and transitioning the reins to the customer’s internal team.
