Track produced by Mike Zombie, mastermind behind Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” & DJ Khaled’s “They Don’t Love You No More”
NEW YORK, Aug. 31, 2018 – Singer/songwriter Lauren Hashian and Grammy-nominated recording artist, Naz Tokio release their latest collaboration, “Samson” today. The powerful new single was produced by Mike Zombie, mastermind behind Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” and DJ Khaled’s “They Don’t Love You No More” featuring Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Jay-Z and French Montana.
The newly released track will be featured in an upcoming episode in HBO’s comedy series, BALLERS Season 4. “Samson” follows Hashian’s 2017 release, “Go Hard,” a collaboration with Walter French, which was selected by ESPN as an official song for the 2017 WNBA season.
“Naz and I wanted to show the balance of tender versus powerful in this song,” says Hashian, ” Samson’ represents how we can be vulnerable and go through moments that make you lose trust or faith, but also how we rise from the ashes, find our strength and light even through all the dark.”

About Lauren Hashian:
Lauren Hashian is an independent song-writer and artist from Boston who has been performing, writing and working in music for 15 years. She spent several years at Warner Music Group and in Paramount Film’s music department before breaking off to focus on song-writing and working directly with recording artists. Her songs have been featured on networks like HBO (‘Ballers’), TNT and UPN. Her single “Go Hard” was used as an official song for the WNBA’s 2017 season. Lauren wrote the treatment for & produced the ‘Samson’ music video, which is her second music video as an artist. A major influence in Lauren’s music has been her father, Sib Hashian, the original drummer for the rock-group Boston.
