Leading IT solutions provider gains 250 IT partners in 132 countries
ST. CHARLES, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SmartSource, Inc., a leading IT solutions provider, has acquired Costa Rica-based IT solutions and staffing firm Global IT SOS. With the acquisition, SmartSource gains a proprietary network of more than 250 partners in 132 countries. Global IT SOS President Diego Soto will become SmartSource’s new president of international operations.

SmartSource’s many U.S.-based clients – including an established base of Fortune 1000 companies and 10 of the top 20 value added resellers (VARs) – now will have access to IT solutions and staff globally. Additionally, SmartSource clients will be able to leverage Global IT SOS’s international call center, which services IT and networking issues remotely for any client.

The acquisition comes on the heels of significant growth at SmartSource, which has hired more than 35 people at its St. Charles, Ill., headquarters in 2019. The company’s additional expansion plans include building out its sales force in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco in the coming year.
