Doosan General Timber, a Wood Specialized Company, to Launch Brand in China

JINJU, South Korea–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#BabySquareTimberDoosan General Timber Co., Ltd., which specializes in wood Established in 2001, plans to launch its brand in China in 2019.

The company mainly produces and distributes treated wood with preservative, baby square timber and decking wood. It has more than two decades of business history in domestic wood industry. It first sold plywood at home in 1995.

For starters, domestically-distributed sawn wood is made of spruce or redpine wood. Sawn wood is used as square timber for interior finishing work after going through the process of lumbering / sawing or used for groundwork on wall surface, which is part of interior remodeling. Timber is used mostly as building, furniture and interior materials. Products of Doosan General Timber Co. are popular both at home and abroad for its well-recognized technological capability in producing Hinoki Clear Louver which is used as interior finishing material panel.

Doosan General Timber has experiences of exporting some of its products to China, but as its brand awareness is still low in the Chinese market, Doosan General Timber Co. seeks to raise its brand awareness by employing IMC marketing and finding prospective buyers. It will then launch its brand with a focus on products credited for Korean sawn wood and Doosan General Timber’s technological knowhow. Well established in domestic wood, lumber and timber industry, the company expects a successful brand launch in China.
