— The latest Barbie-craze has officially gone to the dogs —
SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–If you’ve been thinking pink lately, you are not alone. Wag Hotels is hosting a fabulous Barbie-inspired party for your pooch on Thursday, August 10th. The Dream Doghouse Disco will have dogs disco dancing the day away, with plenty of photos taken for pet parents to enjoy.
Wag Hotels will transform their play areas into the ultimate dream doghouse to give pups the opportunity to fetch, socialize, and explore for a unique, mentally enriching experience (just like Sequin — Barbie’s own ultra glam french poodle!). This adorable enrichment event is provided at all locations and is included during doggie daycare from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“We’re excited to put our own spin on the Barbie phenomenon by hosting a pink-themed party for our guests,” says Kristen Rau, who supervises care for Wag Hotels. “We’ll have ball pits, tents, leis, photo stations, and disco balls — all in pink! Our staff is thinking pink and will be dressed for the occasion. We encourage guests to dress up as well to add to the excitement.”
The Wag Hotels’ app will showcase a themed filter to make the photos extra fun. The main attraction for the event will be the fully-pink ball pit and “dream doghouse” which will double as an agility course to encourage fur babies to get active.
