SOUTHFIELD, Mich.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Atwell, LLC is pleased to welcome Jon Bauman to our team as Director of
Construction. Based in Atwell’s Southfield office, he is responsible for
the design, budget and scheduling for ground up development projects.
Bauman brings more than 35 years of experience in the real estate
development and construction industry, and has executed over 11 million
square feet of mixed-use retail projects; from site acquisition through
project close out. His background includes all facets of construction
management for land development projects, including contractor
supervision and hiring, financial modeling, budgeting, cost controls,
writing and negotiation contracts. His areas of expertise include
retail, mixed-use, and multi-family residential development. He is
particularly knowledgeable with pro forma value creation and analysis,
public financing, site acquisition and site due diligence, leasing and
operations.
Bauman earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Construction Management
and Engineering from Bradley University. He is also licensed as a
Construction, Development, Design Professional for the International
Council of Shopping Centers.
