CALGARY, Alberta–(BUSINESS WIRE)–In honour of Barry Steinfeld, our dear friend and colleague, McLeod Law
has created an endowment fund for the Barry Steinfeld Scholarship in
Law. The scholarship was established in 2018 by one of his mentees, a
true reflection of Barry’s mentorship of junior lawyers. The scholarship
is in recognition of Barry, his career, his mentorship, and his
commitment to the firm and his clients.
One student from the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law will be
awarded the scholarship every year. The scholarship is supported through
an endowment of $20,000 made by McLeod Law.
Barry valued human rights, mentorship and the client. He was a friend
and an advocate to many. We know that Barry meant a lot to many people.
