NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Global law firm Goodwin
announced today that Dan
Goldberg joined the firm’s Technology
practice as a partner in the New
York office.
Goldberg’s practice spans the entire life cycle of technology-driven
ventures. He represents emerging growth companies, venture capital funds
and other private equity funds across a broad range of sectors and
industries including software, online media, digital technologies, and
consumer products. He also advises clients on formation, financing and
sale transactions, and provides general corporate, employment and
intellectual property counsel.
“New York has become an important global technology hub, and as a
result, we are seeing strong and growing local demand to support
emerging companies through all stages of their life cycle,” said Ken
Gordon, Co-Chair of Goodwin’s Technology practice. “Dan is an
accomplished and savvy tech lawyer, who has guided New York-based
companies from formation through and including venture financing and
exits. We are thrilled to add Dan to our team.”
Goldberg received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and
is admitted to practice in New York. For several of the past years, he
taught a seminar at Yale Law School each Fall on entrepreneurship and
the law, which focused on the issues founders encounter when forming a
new venture, raising financing and exiting.
