New managing director will guide clients on meeting global regulatory
needs through machine learning, AI, and emerging technologies

financial services technology executive, joined its Financial Services
Advisory and Compliance (FSAC) segment.
Brasington
joins FSAC as managing director, where she will advise clients on
implementing emerging technologies to enhance their business objectives
and operations while complying with evolving global rules and
regulations. She has over 30 years of experience in risk management,
compliance, and consumer finance, and has previously served in executive
roles at financial institutions, technology organizations, and service
providers. Most recently she served as vice president and global leader
for risk and compliance at IBM Watson.

Brasington specializes in leveraging machine learning and artificial
intelligence technologies to solve critical regulatory challenges, such
as combating financial crime and fraud, regulatory change management,
and modernizing back office and consumer-facing operational platforms.

At IBM, Brasington was a key senior leader within Watson’s Financial
Services division, driving the design, development, and delivery of AI
technology solutions to leverage machine learning, data, and analytics
in improving efficiency and effectiveness in compliance and risk
management.

Prior to IBM, she held executive roles as chief compliance officer at
SunTrust and director of the Southeast Risk Advisory practice at KPMG.
Additionally, she served as chief risk officer at Lender Processing
Services (now known as Black Knight Financial Services), where she
structured the enterprise risk management program from the ground up and
devised practical comprehensive processes for assessing, identifying,
monitoring, and reducing pertinent business risks.
Brasington also has extensive experience leading global teams through
regulatory complexities including anti money laundering, know your
customer, fraud, conduct risk, surveillance, complaints and regulatory
change management.
