UnionPay International announced today its collaboration with NRSP Microfinance Bank, one of the largest microfinance banks in Pakistan, in issuing UnionPay EMV Debit Cards in Pakistan.
Through this cooperation with UnionPay International, NRSP Bank will convert its already-issued magstripe debit cards into UnionPay chip cards, and also issue new cards on a large scale to its customers. The collaboration will cater to the specific demands of local customers who often visit the Asia-Pacific region by offering card products with leading security features. In addition, discounts will be offered at popular retailers and other outlets. Recognizing UnionPay International’s advantages in network, products and service systems, as well as the security of UnionPay chip cards, NRSP Microfinance will promote UnionPay card products as its key products in the future.
