The decision of long-term rivals Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael to formally enter government together marks a turning point in Ireland’s political landscape. But the inclusion of the left-leaning Greens in the three-party coalition paves the way for a programme that emphasises environmental and social considerations which could help Ireland, in KBRA’s view, meet its long-term climate change goals.
