KBRA Europe Releases Research – ESG Policies to the Fore in Ireland’s New Programme for Government

DUBLIN–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Kroll Bond Rating Agency Europe (KBRA) releases research highlighting how Ireland’s new programme for government marks a material change from both a political and policy viewpoint. The decision of long-term rivals Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael to formally enter government together marks a turning point in Ireland’s political landscape. But the inclusion of the left-leaning Greens in the three-party coalition paves the way for a programme that emphasises environmental and social considerations which could help Ireland, in KBRA’s view, meet its long-term climate change goals.
