OLDWICK, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–AM Best Senior Financial Analyst Edin Imsirovic will give a presentation on the rating agency’s plans to assess and score innovation among its rated insurers during an InsurtechWeek NYC event on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at 9:45 a.m. (EST).
In the session, Imsirovic will present AM Best’s plan for evaluating an insurer’s level of innovation and to what extent that evaluation ultimately will impact the measure of an insurer’s financial strength. AM Best released a draft innovation criteria procedure in March 2019, and recently refined it to increase further transparency in light of industry feedback, as well as to reflect ongoing internal review and analysis.
